My Lifted GMC 1500

When I was 16 years old I got a stock 1993 GMC 1500 that I have fixed up over the years. It is a green step-side four-wheel drive extended cab. When I first got the truck it was completely stock and now there isn’t one stock part left on the truck. Over the years I replaced the truck piece by piece because I knew I was never going to sell it and would keep it for the rest of my life. The first thing I did to the truck was tint the windows all the way around. Then I went and had dual exhaust put on the truck because at age 16 every boy wants a loud truck that will turn heads when you drive down the road. The I replaced the head lights and tail lights that would never fade or fog up. I also put a chrome brush guard on the front to add a little extra style. The original paint was still on the truck, but had faded and had a few scratches on it so I took it to the body shop and had the original light green paint redone. Now it glistens in the sun! About a year later after I had saved up some money I replaced the motor and transmission because of all the miles they had on them. Then my dad bought me a four-inch lift kit and big off-road tires and wheels to go on my truck for my birthday. On the inside of the truck I replaced the radio with a new after market radio that also had a CD player in it because the stock one only had a cassette player. I added wood grain interior to the dash after I replaced the radio to give it some color and put custom camouflage seats covers on the front seats to keep them from getting dirty. Those are all the things that I have done to my 1993 GMC 1500 to style it the way I always wanted it to look. Although I did all that work to it, I hardly ever drive it because it only gets about 12 miles to the gallon and gas is sky-high right now. I have only put twenty thousand miles on it in 5 years so there’s proof that it hardly ever gets driven. It just sits in the drive way and looks good, and hey at least it stays clean!
